Supporting Children Cancer Patients in Gaza
In Gaza, childrenbattling cancer face enormous challenges amidst limited resources. Rotary ClubAmman Jerash (RCAJ), in partnership with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation(KHCF), is dedicated to supporting these young fighters.Our mission is toprovide comprehensive assistance, including medical treatment, emotionalsupport, and essential resources.

Previous Major Projects

1994-1995: Spinning and Weaving Project / Al-Suwayma Village (Jordan Valley).
1995-1996: Wool Spinning Project / Al Nahda Village (Jordan Valley).
1996-1997: Embroidery and knitting machines / Al-Nuzha Ladies Center / Amman.
1997-1998: Matching Donation Project: House of Hope for People with Multiple Disabilities $24,000 in Equipment.
1998-1999: Establishing a special department for quality assurance at Schneller Vocational School to raise the level of trainee and spread awareness regarding quality.
1999-2000: Establishing a computer education department at the YWCA center in Baqa'a camp.
2000-2001: Establishing a laboratory for installing hearing aid molds at Prince Hassan Center for Early Detection of Disabilities in the village of Rabbah, Karak Governorate (south of Amman).
2001-2002: Providing medical devices and equipment to the Diaa Center for Blind Children to help them read and write.
2002-2003: Anti-drug project.
2003-2004: AIDS Control Project.
2004-2005: Children's park project in the village of Al-Shaqiq, south of Madaba.
2005-2006: Integrated care project for the village of Khazma/Jordan Valley.
2006-2007: Supplying modern medical and laboratory testing equipment to the Khazma Village Medical Clinic - Jordan Valley, in cooperation with the Rotary International Matchmaking Program, for a total value of $41,000.
2007-2008: A project to provide the Khazma Village Health Center in the Jordan Valley with a fully equipped and advanced dental clinic, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Istanbul, Fenerbahce, Turkey, and a matching grant from the Rotary Foundation.
2008-2009: Qaryra/Wadi Araba Water Network Project.
2009-2010: Distributing 1,250 school bags to needy students in primary grades in several schools.
2010-2011: During the holy month of Ramadan, the club held an iftar for 60 orphans from the Gaza camp. Another iftar was held for 45 orphans from the Orphan Care Charity Association.
2011-2012: Implementing a project to equip the Al-Hassan Association for the Care and Rehabilitation of People with Physical Challenge with a complete set of carpentry tools for use in training the association's members in carpentry and wooden parts maintenance.
2012-2013: Donating interactive panels to support the classes of the Al-Hussein Society for the Care and Rehabilitation of People with Motor Disabilities.
